Love a good spread on your apple or banana for an afternoon or late night snack? Here's a healthy alternative to peanut butter that I found in Extraordinary Health magazine (vol. 24). This spread recipe is vegan, soy free, dairy free, gluten free, and 100% good for your mood.
1/2 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons coconut oil (softened or melted)
1/2 tablespoon Garden of Life RAW Organics Chia Seed
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Putting it all together:
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix together with a spoon. Serve on apples, bananas, or just eat with a spoon.
