Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
What is CBT?
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, solution-focused approach to treatment. With CBT, you will learn and implement new skills and work towards problem-solving. The goal of CBT is to get better and stay better. It is a collaborative approach in which you and I will work together to identify goals and solve your unique difficulties by making healthy changes in the way you think, act, and feel. Although looking a little into your past may be helpful, with CBT, you and I will focus on the present day, examining what is going on in your life now. It has been extensively researched and is particularly effective for depression, anxiety, and chronic fatigue, just to name a few.
